RainDrop Collector
Oil over acrylic on canvas, silver leaf, sealed yarn & burlap, collage, metal buttons.
This 1920's era flapper goddess adorns herself from head to to in shiny silver rain droplets.
This is art about rain. When I made this, it later seemed like a prediction. My life was shaken by the passing of my Mom, so there were lots of tears. Then there were various water issues with my house and yard. Nevertheless, I prefer water to drought if I have to choose. Water is life giving.
